Welcome to Joseph Leonard
Joseph Leonard, located at 170 Waverly Place in the West Village, is a casual neighborhood spot with heart and soul. JL serves seasonal American food in a welcoming, relaxed setting. Opened by Gabriel Stulman, Chef James McDuffee and team in 2009, Joseph Leonard was created to serve as a gathering place for neighbors and visitors alike.
Joseph Leonard is part of the Happy Cooking family of restaurants, started by restaurateur Gabriel Stulman. Jeffrey's Grocery, Fairfax and Jolene are also part of the family.
